   Gameplay alternates between Samanosuke fighting in modern day Paris and Jacques fighting in feudal Japan. Samanosuke fights using close range weapons, while Jacques uses an energy whip, which can also be used at certain points to swing across gaps.

Samanosuke and Jacques can get a power weapon, change their style of fighting and allow access to magical attacks. If the player collects a certain item and complete it during the game, Samanosuke will be able to use the weapons from the first game to the next game. Players can also control the Michelle, who rely on firearms.

Players will be provided on the standard difficulty level initially, but if you die a few times, easy to open an optional mode.
